After a long wait, Shakeb Hamdard finally releases his new CD and new single, on the Barbud Music Label.
Mashallah, the name of the CD and also the name of the fist video single, is the culmination of over 12 month's work for Afghan Star Seaon 1 winner, Shakeb Hamdard, and Barbud Music.
Mashallah , the first ever CD by Shakeb Hamdard and the first CD by a performer in Afghan Star, was released to much excitement in Afghanistan in December 2007.
"Mashallah" is the name of the first every CD of Shakeb Hamdard, and also the name of his first hit single from this CD. The song was composed, arranged, recorded and mastered in Barbud Music's Kabul Studios, so it is a totally Afghan production. The CD was printed in Dubai, UAE, to Barbud's international standards.
Tawab Arash is a famous young Afghan musician who has released a number of hits in the last few years. His music has a particular style and flavour which has been particularly liked by the young of Afghanistan.
Here Tawab Arash says a few words about the sale and distribution of illegal music and how Barbud is trying hard to legitimise the industry in Afghanistan.
